Today, in Qatar, Morocco and Jordan face off at Lusail Stadium for the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup title. The match offers an interesting subplot: a direct managerial duel between two Moroccans coaches.

Morocco reached the final after a clinical 3–0 win over the UAE in the semis. The Atlas Lions have been rock solid, conceding only one goal  throughout the entire tournament.

On the other side, Jordan are making history in their first-ever Arab Cup final. They advanced after a hard-fought 1–0 win over Saudi Arabia and have been the tournament’s top scorers with 10 goals in five matches. It’s essentially the tournament’s best defense against its best attack, with both teams desperate to lift the trophy tonight.

    Match details

    • Fixture: Morocco vs Jordan
    • Competition: FIFA Arab Cup 2025—Final
    • Venue: Lusail Stadium, Lusail, Qatar
    • Date: Thursday, 18 December 2025
    • Kick-off: 17:00 GMT+1 (19:00 local time)

    How to Watch

The match will be broadcast on beIN Sports 1, Al Kass TV, ENTV, Dubai Sports, and Abu Dhabi Sports.

    Morocco team news

Morocco has been one of the most reliable teams in the tournament and is now in the final. They easily won their group, had a tough match against Syria, and then dominated the UAE with a strong 3–0 win in the semi-finals.

Their success comes from solid defense and smart, effective attacking play. They barely let any goals in and score when they get the chance. If they win today, it will be their second Arab Cup title, with the first one coming back in 2012.

Tactically, Morocco will likely control the ball and keep a balanced approach. They’ll focus on holding possession, quickly moving from defense to attack, and being creative up front. The key for them will be managing the pace of the game, handling any pressure from Jordan, and scoring at just the right moments.

Predicted Lineup (Morocco): Benabid; El Moussaoui, Saadane, Bouftini, Boulacsout; Hrimat, Bach; Zouhzouh, Tannane, El Bekaoui; Azaro.

    Jordan team news

Jordan has been on an amazing, historic journey in this tournament. They haven’t lost a single game so far, finishing top of their group and then just getting past Saudi Arabia with a 1–0 win in the semi-finals thanks to a goal from Nizar Al-Rashdan. This is the first time in their history that they’ve made it to an Arab Cup final, which is a huge deal for Jordanian football.

Their success is all about tough defense, bouncing back from challenges, and making the most of their attacking chances at just the right time. They’ve shown great discipline in close games, especially in the knockouts, and their coach, Jamal Sellami, always talks about how mentally strong and united the team is.

Injuries: Yazan Al-Naimat is officially out after suffering a complete tear of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during the quarter-final against Iraq.

Tactically, Jordan will probably play it safe and stay very organized. They’ll try to stop Morocco from breaking quickly and make it really hard to score against. Their best chances will likely come from quick counterattacks or set-piece plays. Their unbeaten streak gives them a lot of confidence, but this final is definitely their biggest test yet.

Predicted Lineup (Jordan): Abulaila; Taha, Al Dahab, Al Rosan, Nasib, Smeeri; Al Mardi, Ayed, Al Rashdan, Ersan; Olwan.
